Innovating from the ground up
Community Links is always seeking new ways of dealing with old problems. Links UK works to develop innovation from the ground up.
Our Everyday Innovators programme works with managers, frontline staff and volunteers from all sectors, across a range of organisations and agencies that have yielded many innovative and practical ideas. Some ideas are simple and practical and can be implemented locally. Others require government support and changes to rules – these form the basis of our contributions to policy development.
Our research is based on exploring issues with those most directly involved and identifying new and sustainable solutions.
Our Ideas Annuals have since 1989 shared practical ideas developed by community groups from across the UK which are making a difference to those in need of support.
Our track record in innovating public service delivery was reported in Enduring Change
