We harness the wealth of knowledge that exists in local communities to enhance the delivery of public service and influence national policy. We pioneer new ideas and new ways of working locally and share the learning nationally with practitioners and policy makers. Our evidence based research and policy contributions; training and consultancy programmes; events and public speaking; plus practical publications share experience from the ground up. As a result, we are recognised as national leaders in regeneration and social policy.
Campaigning on work and benefits
Community Links has 30 years experience of working with people excluded from work and benefits. Over time working patterns have changed and the outdated system has failed to keep pace. Numerous amendments and changes to the UK benefits, tax credits and tax systems, has resulted in a complex system which is difficult to administer. Our Need NOT Greed Campaign proposes new solutions.
