In our reception each morning, our Advice services on welfare benefits, housing and debt are as busy as ever. On Wednesday mornings volunteers provide form filling support to help the vulnerable and elderly. These volunteers are all on our Advice course and true to our ethos of empowering our service users, many first came to us seeking advice themselves. Members of our 2008 class recently received their certificates; five are going on to study for a degree while four have secured permanent employment. One of them said, "Thank you for paving the way for me, it is a dream come true."
