Success Stories

In response to concerns about the mental health and wellbeing of staff raised by the NHS staff survey, the four organisations that make up Kings Health Partners (KHP) developed a workplace wellbeing scheme, 'happier@work'. Initially funded by NHS London, the programme seeks to reduce stress in the workplace and improve levels of wellbeing, working at the individual, team and organisational level by embedding a range of interventions, including mindfulness workshops for staff and team action plans focused on mental wellbeing. By increasing wellbeing in the workplace, happier@work is not only helping to reduce staff illness and raise productivity, but is also boosting morale and confidence, motivating staff to provide the best possible care for their patients.
